Private House Extension, Calne

A detached house on a hillside requested a rear extension with a structural wall removed along the full length of the house. To achieve the required strength and stability, two steel frames were designed.

This allowed us to meet the owner’s requirements of creating an open plan living space and maximising the hillside view into the house.
