Jed joined Giraffe Engineering in 2023 as a Senior Structural Technician. He is highly skilled in both AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, producing the detailed structural drawings and 3D models required to accurately communicate engineering designs to contractors, Architects and clients.

Within the practice, Jed manages drawing information production and standard development. He maintains and develops the company’s CAD and Revit templates, ensuring that all drawing output is modern, comprehensive and presented to a consistently high standard. He continually works to adapt the software to improve efficiency across the design team.

Drawing on his broader experience within the construction industry, Jed ensures his draughting approach is highly practical. He is always looking to develop new skills and refine the drawing process to benefit both the team and the wider project.

Away from work, Jed enjoys being outdoors and keeping active. He spends plenty of time on the move, particularly cycling, climbing, and dog walking. When he does relax, he enjoys listening to and playing music as often as possible.
